By providing a link to wwii forum we will reciprocate by linking your site to ours.

I have created a box on the main page on the left hand side for this, it can take a small graphical banner if you have one.

    Hi Lee,

Good to see the site is going from strength to strength - you are putting a lot of time into it!

I see you have added a couple of sites on the side bar as text only for the time being - thanks for that. I have attached a small 160x15 pixels animated GIF for my site. I am not sure what size you want so I screen grabbed the current site and cropped a size.

Let me know if its ok or if you would rather have a uniform size?

    Cheers

    Ryan

Should be okay, will change it for you now and see how it looks

    Ryan,

Its a bit small, I would say treble the size of it to make it readable, there is enough space for a few banners there so make it 160x45

    Hi Lee,

Would be grateful if you could use the graphic i have included (160x35) on your site with the link http://www.worldwar-2.net. I hope this graphic is ok, otherwise i will do a redesign in the near future. In terms of a reciprocal link, my site has 2 links on every page (through the menu structure) to this forum....as previously discussed with Nick. ;)

    Cheers

    Hi Paul,

Do you want me to make you a couple of banners for this site? You can use them elsewhere etc also.

I'll knock something up for you from your two sites and let you take a peek -

    Ryan,

What did you use (program) to create your image, I can program php, html, mysql and others but graphics are just not my strong point. I like the way you did the animated logo though, but I have not got a clue how to do that.

I am not desperately good at this banner stuff, but would be grateful for a link to D Day Ancetors or Battlefields of WW2:

    Hi Lee / Paul -

I use Adobe Photoshop and Ulead Gif Animator.

How are these for an example?

For Battlefields of WW2 (not sure about the cemetery looking ok but I used the 2 main images off your site Paul, maybe it should be static?)

    No problem Paul -

Here is a static one for battlefields, I feel the cemetery is a little lost unless you already know what it is.

However, it is down to you and if you have any preferences please let me know, its no trouble :)

Let Lee know which you'd prefer of course!

    Hi Ryan,

Those are excellent banner images youve created. I wish i had the skills to create something of that quality, but alas no such luck. I realises that this is really cheeky, but would there be any chance that you could also sort me out with a suitable banner graphic that can be used on this forum, and if your feeling really kind, perhaps a full sized (325x45) for my website. I think im in the majority here in that I have very little talent in this area. sad but true...
