I have been cut and pasting PDF's on the Net for along time however today it does not work and this has flashed up on my screen? I have never paid previously and the low priced yearly cost is quite sufficient for my needs. The PDF's I was working on are stored on my own D: drive, not on the net!!! Geoff That appears to be a PDF to Word file converter and I've seen similar products from Adobe over the years. I get the impression from your post that that's not what you are trying to achieve.
PDFs can be protected by the creator to prevent copying and even printing, so it might be the particular file your working with rather than Adobe Reader. Lee
I had something similar a few months ago. Updating to the latest adobe software (the free versions) made it go away. It was a conflict, not the product of a money grab. Note: I use an Apple Macbook and OSX, not Windows.
Thanks Charlie. Turned off the computer yesterday a couple of times - no good. Turned it on today and it was all good. Today I downloaded some .jpg photos and "photo viewer" or nothing else will open them. It is going to be one of those weeks. Cheers Geoff
Thanks SDP and Lee! The word file converter you mentioned SDP could have been the problem. I did click it by mistake earlier. All good now though. Now for the photo problem!!!!!!!!
