I thought I would post my birthday present. A Wild Bill Guarnere signed M1 Helmet & M43 Jacket. My Dad got me this on the inernet for my birthday. The jacket has all the buttens on it. The hood has Gerviais written on it. It has the numbers G-1160 on it. Does anyone know were I can trace the numbers or the jacket.

The jacket looks like an M-43 (issued prior to Operation Market Garden). Not seen one with a hood before though. The jacket itself looks like a repro made for Band of Brothers (I have one too) and the name would relate to a crew member who wore it. Mine was part of the special effects department (has SFX written under one of the pocket flaps). I could be wrong on that though. Is the hood part of the jacket itself, or is it detatchable? Anyway, great present! Thats signature is priceless imo
