I know you ladies and gents love these ID posers. The photograph below was sent to me today by a family enquiry via the Chindit Society. I have a strong feeling that the cap badge depicted is that of the King's Liverpool Regiment and the image was taken in India, but it is not overly clear.

The questions posed by the family are:

    1. Is this a soldier from WW1 or WW2?
    2. Is this an Australian soldier?
    3. What is the cap badge on the side of the slouch hat?

Would love everyone's thoughts on this one. :)

I would say British, the cap badge looks as though it could be Kings or West Yorkshire Regiment?

The Badge does look like it is The King's, making it British and looking at the Uniform WW2.
