I went to a University of Toronto used book sale and in the paperback section, I managed to find, for $5 for 6 paperbacks... Von Ryan's Express by David Westheimer (I thought this might be fun. Haven't actually seen the film!) The Giant Killers by Kenneth Poolman (novel about the Merchant Service Fighter Unit) The Raider Kormoran, by Capt Theodor Detmers (I miiiight have read this years ago) Storm from the Sea by Lt Col Peter Young (commandos) San Demetrio by Calum Macneil (about the crew of a tanker set on fire by the cruiser Admiral Scheer) Clear the Decks by Daniel Gallery (US North Atlantic escort carrier) Has anyone read these titles?
