Before he was posted to SE Asia my father started his service career as ACH/ PTI and was stationed firstly at 3 sof PT Loughborough in 1941 and a little later the Officers school Cosford 2 sof PT. On 25/01/41 his rank changed to ACH/GD . Any ideas what was going on here ?. Would he have continued his PT instruction of as suggested reverted to general duties.? In 1942 he went for BAT training , which as he was ground crew also has me wondering. Any comments please. Many thanks as usual .
