    Hello users,

*Disclaimer* I will apologise now incase this has already been answered.

Did the men and woman of the generation who fought during the war seem to ever resent the fact that they had to bare so much ,for so long and under terrible conditions?

My own family member just says 'I just got on with it,it was just the war'. Which on the face of it is a very blase opinion to such a life changing moment.

    Any experiences and opinions welcome.
