10860 missions of airplanes (RAF and others) added on Back to Normandy. A huge operation investigating, writing and scripting. All the geolocations will be ready at the and of the week. So you can see everything on your iPhone, iPad, Android with Layar. A special App to see events in your neighbourhood from WW2.

Of course every update to more closer coordinates as mentioned in the records are welcome. It would be great to cooperate!

Bernard, if you don't mind can I please ask if you have been able to access the information link on the 'Back to Normandy' website? I begin to wonder if you need particular hardware to access the information and site (i.e. iPhone, iPad, etc.)?

Astonishing! An epic piece of work. [IMG] Kuddo's.

Works fine on Mac OS 10.6.8 using Firefox 24.0

    One very minor glitch detected:

Right clicking on a link in order to open the page in a new tab or window brings up the dialogue box "This function is restricted."
Left clicking = A-OK. The page opens in the same window. Solution: use the dang "Back" button ya ID Yote! ... [IMG]
(Weird, for sure... but at most incidental, not worthy of followup.)

    Edit: Added fun emoticons.

Thanks for the info. I have tried again (via Firefox) to access the B.T.N. website but still without luck. There must be something in the way access has been set up.

The right click (windows) or ctrl click (Mac) is disabled because of unwanted visitors searching for links to get in. People who need to copy things from the website, please register and give me an email. And I will unlock this safety measure for this person.
