An episode of the WW2 podcast, an interview with William Buckingham, author of the recently published Arnhem: The Complete Story of Operation Market Garden

This second I haven't finished. Did you know the RAF Museum has a podcast? "Seb Ritchie and Harry Raffal discuss Operation Market Garden and the air forces at Arnhem." So far focusing on the failures of high level planning and the rigidity of the plan. I found this a useful complement to the interview with Buckingham which seemed more focused on the actual events on the ground.

And I haven't even started listening to another episode of the WW2 podcast which is apparently an interview with American veteran Gene Metcalfe, who was thought dead and left behind, captured by the Germans, and escaped and nearly made it to Switzerland.
