Hi all. It seems to be very quiet in here i have had a read though some great info here. About 11 years ago my gramp gave me his biography which included details of all his movements while in 53rd A company. I am hoping to with permission of other family members to get his bio published i wrote it myself from his notes. My gramp was Clarence Powell.... despite googling i have never seen his name mentioned anywhere. I also have a huge album of his army day photos and badges medals etc.

    Which unit in 53rd Division?

If you'd like a hand editing it for publication etc, I'd be happy to oblige. I do know the formation rather well...
