I'm trying to get hold of a book called 'We Marched' which is an account of the evacuation of 2nd Battalion Hampshires to Dunkirk in 1940. The book is published by the Royal Hospital Chelsea and edited I believe by In-Pensioner 347 J C Carbis. Date of publication November 2000.
Does anyone have a copy or know where I might get hold of one please. I have emailed the RHC but as yet have had no reply.

Try Abebooks on the web, they are normally good for second hand and unusual wants

The British Library seem to have copies in London and Wetherby here. I wonder if the do electronic or other copies? Authors are JC Carbis and a Percy Duncan.

    Unfortunately nothing listed on Abe.

If you are writing about 2 Hamps retreat to Dunkirk you may want to grab a peek at this at Kew as well as the battalions war diary:

CAB 106/232 Personal accounts of experiences with the 2nd. Battalion the Hampshire Regiment at Dunkirk 1940 May.

Thanks guys. Have finally tracked down the editor of We Marched at the Chelsea Hospital - hopefully things will progress from there. Drew Thanks for the pointer.
