I don't think that there is much to go by via this route either... - The Royal Lancers Museum at Derby Or by simply Googling the name etc. The War Graves site does also have... Which, I think, references that he was perhaps previously buried as an "unknown". There were a few 9th Lancers from around then that were commemorated as "with no known grave" and some of the dates of death are noted as bring slightly different, depending on where the information is seen. Additionally it doesn't always seem clear - in what records there are currently online - whether individuals were immediately kia, died later of wounds or were missing and later found to have died, rather than being taken prisoner of war.
