    Update:
8th Royal Scots movements during the Normandy Campaign (June through August) have be updated in the Battle of Normandy animation here (www.geo-animate.com). Upon arriving in Normandy in early July, the 8RS distinguished themselves in Operation Epsom, on Hill 112, in Operation Bluecoat near Lassy, and the Seine crossing at Porte-Joie.

Also the 6th Royal Scot Fusiliers and the 6th King's Own Scottish Borderers, who together with the 8th Royal Scots comprise the 44th Lowland Brigade of the 15th Scottish Infantry Division, have been included in the above animation.
