    Hi,
I'm currently researching the units my dad was in during WW2 as I aim to build a model of the Matador truck he drove while towing a 3.7" gun. During 1941 he was with the 262nd Battery/ 84th HAA Regt and then from 1943 he was transferred to the 501st Battery/ 145th HAA Regt until the wars end.
What I'm looking for are the markings that the vehicle and gun would have used for the two particular units.
I know that he was stationed in the UK throughout the war and at one point ended up guarding the Forth railway bridge during the D-Day period in 1944 (he did'nt know it but it was part of Operation Fortitude, the plan to fool the Germans where the invasion would start).
If anybody has any information I would be very grateful.
    Many thanks in advance.
