82nd Airborne Picture real of Print?? Help

    Hi All

    I've recently brought this 82nd Airborne picture on the the back it says Printed and manufactured by Kodak ..(faintly printed all over the back ) isit a print or a original?? Any help would be appreciated

    Forgive me - but all photography of this era was exposed on a light sensitive emulsion, developed into a negative then printed on light sensitive paper. So all final product was a print.

    If you are asking is this print correct for the period then probably not for a press photo - normally it had syndicate info stamped or added on an affixed slip.
    It may be for a locally produced print copy of a syndicate negative done by the developer as a back door favour for a unit.
    As to if it is a scan of a print and printed digitally then take a microscope and see if the image is pixelated if so it is a modern scan reproduction.
