I have two pictures of my fathers that were taken in Herzogenrath Germany in May 1945. Can anyone help me locate this building? Thanks, Buggsy
A little more detail on the photo's. It was the building where the Command A - Frontier guard was located. My dads unit was transferred to the 15th. Army at that time. The 15th Army's Boarder Patrol HQ was located in Aachen at that time. My father wrote on the back of the photo Herzogenrath. I have to assume he knew where he was. I was in Herzogenrath this spring and walked all over the city looking for this building but with no luck. Considering the size of the city now it was a long shot but I had to try. Any one out there that knows where the 15th. Army's Boarder Patrol HQ was in May 1945 I would appreciate any help in locating this building. Buggsy

Thanks Wills I will check it out and see what I find. I thought that the Constabulary started when the boarder Patrol ended (1946). Or am I wrong on that? Buggsy
