I found a postcard which said my dad was with the 77 Coy B P T,A PLN,R.A.S.C,M.E.L.F. and his coy was attached to the 668 Coy.The postcard was dated 23 July1947.Does anyone have any information on this Coy please,thank you in advance.

Royal Army Service Corps: Petrol Transport Companies: 77 Company Bulk Petrol Transport (RASC). Date: 1946 Jan-1946 June. WO 169 is the series for British Forces, Middle East. Looks as if your father was in ‘A’ Platoon. MELF = Middle East Land Forces. Richard
