    Morning,

    Been asked to assist in the forthcoming 100 years celebrations (which includes WW2).

    Researching:-

    Lance Bombardier 14251545 Sidney Alfred TAYLOR
    76th Field Regiment, Royal Artillery
    KiA on Sunday 15 October 1944

    Casualty

    Can anyone assist on what his regiment was doing on the day of his death ?

    15th Oct 1944 3rd Div Artillery in support of 159th Bde (11th Armoured Div) in attack on Overloon.
    Do you know which Battery he was with?

    A quick reference suggests 3rd Division but see my separate posting on my new thread.

    Graeme,

    I have perhaps mixed 2 items together and initially wish to pursue any connections between the 76th and the 65th Med Regt if you have any information.

    76th (Highland ) Field Regt
    7th Field Regt
    33rd Field Regt
    92nd LAA Regt
    20th AT Regt
