Yes , he was back with his Regiment on 1st October .

 

#19 photo suggests that they are about to parade for Guard Duty (or patrol duties), at a camp probably in the Middle East the "Skeleton Order" Webbing is worn for those type of duties.
Possibly taken near the camp armoury where they would draw weapons, two are wearing small ammo pouches often for a revolver.

Photo #17 the men in Skeleton Order are in front of a Camouflage painted Truck alongside it is a striped pole possibly part of a raised barrier.

Are they ever seen at military reenactments?

 

Yes, I've seen some at shows.
