Greetings everyone. I'm a modeler from the Philippines and I'm hoping to build one of the M5 Stuarts that served in the country. Does anyone have more info on this tank, or perhaps more photos of similar 716th Stuarts? Thank you and I appreciate all the stories shared here.

First timer, found from Bing/Google searches on 716th Tank Battalion. I've read through all 14 pages, this is all great information, some I've found on my own, but a lot that I have not. Great work everyone.

What brings me here is research into my grandfather, Edward F. Thrasher's, service. In his memoirs listed being in Company C however the Bronze Service Arrowhead roster lists him as Company D.

I'm going through his pictures, I have one from what must be Company D at Camp Chaffee.

As I found more things I'll upload if it is new/not already provided.

That my father in law , I think sixth from the end, right side, top row. The short guy next to the tall guy. I have a list of D co. That was distributed before they left the Philippines

Here’s a list of co. D members sent home by my father in law, not sure when but there is a cross by one name. I was able to actually contact the company clerk, Tamasia, and have him speak to my fil. We also did meet stubby from Indiana. This was back in the early 2000s.
