713 Company RASC

    Hi guys.
    I’m helping someone trying to get info (service records sent for)
    He is RP Whyte T/7398161 of 713 Company RASC.
    We think he was at Dunkirk and later Baghdad, Egypt, Italy. Any help appreciated.

    There are 4 diaries that come up if you search under 713 / Coy / RASC at Kew. Not sure how well they support your understanding as WO166 is 'Home Forces' and WO171 'North West Europe'. Best wait for the record before attempting to dig deeper unless what you currently have is based on solid evidence.

    WO171/2522 Feb 44 - Dec 44
    WO171/6341 1945
    WO171/9857 Jan 46 to March 46

    713 Company (General Transport) RASC post VE Day

    5 Line of Communication Sub Area - Artillery Barracks Breda Holland
    16 Oct 45 - 1 Corps District admin 53 (Welsh) Infantry Division to 5 Apr 46 - sorry no locations but will be the Düsseldorf region
