    YES. MAINZ. Straightforward questions by a Major, appeared to know all my particulars, except the No. of the Battalion.

    Tunnel at TITTMONING. Tunnel found by Germans.
    Two Tunnels at WARBURG. Self caught by Germans in one.

    Neither completed.
    Captured by Germans after breaking out of ROTENBURG into German quarters whilst trying to get right away, with five others.
