    Hi Chris

    Thanks for your info.
In Italy I was in Campo 65 at Porto San Georgio on the Adriatic Coast prior to transfer to Stalag 4B in Germany. I was in B Troop 231 Battery of the 67th.

    Hope this helps

    Best regards Les

Ernest has been in touch so will have a chat with him. Seems we served together and shared a similar history after Tobruk. I did not work on the railway. Thanks for the info.

I've just started to trace my dads wartime experience. his name was walter oliver a gunner in the 67th regiment and was involved in the battle of knigthsbridge and subsequently captured in tobruk. I know he was transported to Italy PG 73 I believe near Carpi. He spoke of being in a truck for days arriving in Germany and on to join a working party unloading rock at a German firebrick factory at Bad Lausic? near Borna.
I would be grateful if anyone has any material which could help my endeavours
    many thanks
    Richard oliver

I am researching Harold Rumsey 231 Battery. Wondering if anyone has a copy of the 67 Medium Regt War Diary 1939-42?
