Moved your post from Royal Fusiliers (London Regiment) so that it gets individual attention.

    For record
    Casualty
    Fusilier FYNN, STANLEY JAMES
    Service Number 6471432
    Died 09/07/1941
    Aged 27
    23rd Bn.
Royal Fusiliers (City of London Regiment)

    Buried at RAINHAM CEMETERY
    Location: Essex, United Kingdom
    Number of casualties: 13
    Cemetery/memorial reference: Sec. B. Cons. Grave 110.

War diary held at National Archives Kew goes up to June 1941 - presumably after which it was converted to a Recce unit - but something might be mentioned in earlier entries, eg if he was involved in an accident.
