    This man us a Spaniard who came over the mountains IN THE ? from CATALONIA, was interned in FRANCE. Later he enlisted in the Fr. Foreign Legion and went with it to SYRIA. He deserted after the fall of FRANCE and went to PALESTINE where he enlisted in Commandos.
