    It has Kev. That is because it is not a Sherman VC.

    It is a IC Hybrid, i.e. a Sherman I with a welded back end mated with a cast front hull.

    Thanks Bod, feel better now after that very geekish response.


    I can just about detect the main marks in US and Uk naming schemes, but when they start mixing up the parts, I get confused...


    I can see now its got a whole cast front hull on the welded rear, never seen that before. Bettcha that was a bad idea.

    Weren't the 60lb. rockets originally intended for "Z" Batteries though, and able to be fired from the ground up to X,000 feet?

    I'm guessing the versions fired from aircraft were drastically reduced in charge, but in theory I would have thought that a tank could have mounted rockets with a higher charge than those fired from aircraft.
