I found this site after a quick google search relating to my wife's grandfather, Gunner Sidney Weston, and I was extremely pleased to see his entry in the nominal role listed here.

I am researchng the military career of Gunner Weston and have applied for his Army Service Record on behalf of my wife's father, and have just secured a copy of Patrick Walker's book. I have also downloaded 6 documents from Ancestry.com, which includes his POW file card and Returning POW sheet as well as some file documents listing his name, rank and service no. etc.

If anyone can provide any additional information whatsoever I really would be very grateful.

Finally, a thank you to everyone who has posted on this thread, especially for posting the nominal role at the start of this thread. Many thanks indeed.
