    Lozz,

The Hampshire Regiment Museum in Winchester is but a short trip.
Speak to the guys there, and they have many books for reference.

    Hello Lozz,

The 5th Bn Hampshire Regiment were in the Hampshire Brigade - the 128th Infantry Brigade, 46th Division.

There is a reasonably priced regimental history: The Royal Hampshire Regiment 1918-1954 - DS Daniell (N&M Press), which will give you an insight into where they were, when and the actions they were invloved in.

    Best,

    Steve.

    Owen -- --- -.. MOD

Merged in one of lozz's other posts that has a bit more info.
I'm wondering if he'd transferred to another unit as that route isnt 5th hamps route.
Isnt the T before his number for Transport in RASC ?

But apparently he definitely didn’t go there .

Defiantly near Pisa but there is nothing in this camp , probably explains why he has not detail for camp .

I can literally find nothing on the camp .

be good to try and understand how he finally escaped .
    Huge thank you so far
