What I said was that you will find further anomolies as you look through this series of files - certainly not that you will find other names missing from the Arnhem Roll of Honour

It was 1986. I think the cover is a wonderful piece of artwork. It was plastic comb bound with a separate index

Yes I agree John, I have it, I also have 89 and 99, so what year am I missing?

I am assuming that its either 87 or 88 ,because the 89 says 3rd edition.

    That looks familiar! :D

I first saw it framed, hanging in the "old" Hartenstein. Does anyone know who painted it??

There is light at the end of the tunnel! Any idea of a publication date and likely cost?

Despite some rumours spreading around in the arnhem/airborne circuit, I am happy to say that all goes well and that the 1st proof edition is ready.

September will be releasing date, hopefully before arnhem week

I have two information portfolio's (1988 and 1989) containing information on the Arnhem Pilgrims activities. These portfolios have this picture on the cover. In the right hand lower corner, there is the name: Johan Paulus 1984.

Googling the name does not directly lead to an artist/painter, unless Pope John Paul II has had this unknown qualities and interest in the Arnhem topic;)

The drawing with the Helmet is from Johan Paulus Pieters and the original is/was
in the Airborne Museum Hartenstein Oosterbeek.
