    Hi Phil,

    Pleased to help, I think the BM number is an ID/reference number for each casualty. I've seen it before in nominal rolls for casualties in Burma, I always thought it stood for 'Believed missing'. I could be wrong.

    Not sure about the date in pencil. I will pm you my email address, so you can have these images in their full resolution.
