    This chap was Private Secretary to The Queen Mother. She visited my battalion in 1990 and he was the chap who accompanied her throughout.

    Lt Col (Retd) Sir Martin Gilliat. Did some time in Colditz.

    Nice chap.

    Hi

    According to 'Swift and Bold' Lt Gilliat was in 2nd Btn KRRC at Calais and worked at Btn HQ.
