Hi im trying to find out more about my grandfathers role during and after the war.
I know he was injured in italy and moved back to train others in warminster, he later moved onto Bovington.

I have posted some documents that may help with information.

    Thank you.

    Hello

57 HTR is Heavy Training Regiment. As mentioned obtaining a copy of his service records will reveal all his units, injuries, where he served etc.

    Cheers
    Andy

It's a training regiment rather than a fighting regiment so not many are interested in such things, many prefer things like men jumping out of perfectly good aeroplanes etc.

My Grandfather also served in the 57th Training Regiment.
I wondering if you found anything? findlaydw@gmail.com
