    This picture was given me by a family member so, as it is not from the records ( I had to sign a disclaimer relating to the records), I feel I can post it.

    [FONT=&quot]Captured by the Japanese at Singapore on Sunday 15 February 1942 after the capitulation, Thomas succumbed in captivity working on the notorious Burma-Siam railway. He was 28 years of age.
