Can anyone tell me the movements and action of 4 Bn QOCH part of 152 Bde, 51 Div, SAAR Force. I am particularly interested in 'B' Company Action on 3 June 1940 when the OC Major N.B. Ramsay earned his MC. Any info appreciated
Are you sure Major N.B. Ramsay was awarded a MC? He's not in my MC book nor listed online at the National Archives. I've had a quick look and the Div's Infantry Battalions appear to be performing Recce's on the 3rd June and waiting for the 31st Mountain Div, Ie no attacks. Whats the source of your information? The battalion has a war diary WO 167/720 4 Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders but as you would expecet for most units within the 51st Div it only goes upto May. That said I've not looked at the Highland Div in any great detail so I suspect a couple of other members will be able to help more than me. Regards Andy

Are those pages from a 1940 51st Div book or a Bn history? I'm only asking as I could do with a couple of 51st Books on 1940-I've only got Churchill's Sacrifice.
