    Guys,
i have a veteran chum who served with the above units during the war Harry Hadden.
He told me he was unable to find any info about either units so having found this site(& being very impressed with what i have read so far!)i thought i would see what you guys knew?
457 was an independant BTY using the old style "screw gun"(of Kipling fame) throughout Sicily & Italy.
Harry rose to the lofty heights of Lance Bombadier & as a signaller & served through North Africa,Sicily & Italy, then ended up in Germany attached to RASC as a driver.
    thanks for any info,
    Al Price
