4.5 inch howitzer gun towers

    What was the gun tower used by batteries equipped with the 4.5 inch howitzer at the start of WW2? Any help/illustartions would be appreciated.

    As a field piece, wouldn't it have been a Quad of one make or another?

    Early 1939, 86 Fd Regt was all 4.5" Howitzers (unpneumatised, if that's a word) and were due to receive Morris CDSWs (from April 1939) as a stopgap until Quads became available (from August 1940).
