    yes you can post here

Whilst on holiday many years ago, staying in the same hotel was an ex Blenheim Pilot.
He passed away several years ago but informed me that there were many crashes when converting to the Blenheim due to the compexities of this plane compared to it's predecessors. Lots of technical innovations plus first RAF bomber with retractable undercarriage.
Having said that he loved the plane but said you had to really concentrate whilst flying them.
Failing to operate the undercarriage to up position after take off produced a lot of drag and could bring the plane down if the Pilot didn't correct soon enough.

    Regards
    Tom

The AIB report says he was taking off not landing when he stalled at 1000 feet crashing into heading street and being killed outright , also one civillian killed but no record found ? of any civillian death.

That sounds like a bit of racist gossip. Noel Isaac was a relative of my father’s and the family came from Wales and yes there was some good Jewish ancestry there. My great grandmother Kate Isaac was widowed as a young woman and raised a large family whilst running her own business. One of her children waa Noel’s father. Noel was a practising Solicitor at the time of his death as well as training to be a pilot. I have read the type of Blenheim plane he was flying was prone to stalling mid air. The rest is sadly history.
