Can anyone tell me the gun positions of the 3rd & 4th Cdn Medium Regts RCA on 31st Oct/1st Nov, for "Infatuate 1&2". HQ 2CAGRA of which they were part were NW of Groede & most of the RA Med Regts were at Breskens but can't find where they were, its not mentioned in the 2CAGRA Diaries,or the Fire-Plan, or any of my books at all. Rob, All I have is the village of Schoondijcke on 31st October. Probably more info in " The Gunners of Canada " by Lt. Col. Nicholson. Do you have a copy? Cheers
Randy Blackburn gives Schoondijke as the position of the 4th Field RCA and other 2 Can Div Field Regts but with the Mediums & Heavies nearer Breskens. I'am too mean to pay the £70 odd for the Gunners of Canada. Thanks for looking mate. Rob

Schoondijke/Ijzendijke was shot to pieces, do you want a map of the area. Nothing as far as I can see in Gof C about their positions
Many Thanks Randy & Philip for looking! Regiments were established over a large area, as well as Breskens,Groede,Ijzendijke & Shoondijke. I also have mediums & heavies at Roodenhoek,Boerenhol,Kruisdijk & Hoofplaat, but no one seems to know where the 3/4 Cdn Med Regts were allthough i suspect Breskens with the 15th Med RA which were one of the other 2CAGRA Med Regts. Cheers Rob Rob, Eureka! I have seen the light! I heard from the historian at MLU. The war diaries for both regiments are available through the library on an Inter-library loan basis. I have the file numbers from National Defence. Let me investigate further.... Cheers from the colony
