    My latest research project concernes the above.

    He originally enlisted in the 1/5th Kings Own om the 11.6.1938 and was present with the battalion in France in 1940 and was initially reported as "miising" on the 13.6.1940 following the evacuation. George clearly made it across the Channel as he was then reported in the casualty returns as "no longer missing".

    I have obtained a copy of his Tracer Card from the Tank Museum (thank you Jonathan) which shows that he transferred from KORR on the 1 11.1941. Does anyone have a copy of the WD for 107 covering that period?

    George received the Efficiency Medal (Territorial) A.O. 48/46

    If anyone has any information on 107 and /or 1/5th Kings Own, I would be delighted to hear from them.

    Yes I have and I am hoping to visit the museum in the near future; fingers crossed!
