I have been looking at the ORB for 358 Squadron, a special duties squadron formed in India in late 1944. Based on what I have, I can see many missions flown in Burma, French Indochina and as far afield as Malaya. The ORB has a decent amount of detail regarding missions flown by each crew, but as with any ORB there is no context for what they were doing. I was wondering if any user has any experience in cross-referencing ORBs for special duty squadrons with specific SOE or OSS activities in SE Asia.

SOE in the Far East operated under the designation Force 136.

You might also liked to look at the ORBs of 357 squadron (Liberators, Dakotas & Lysanders). Also 200/8 squadron with Liberators (same squadron number changed May 1945) & 160 Liberator squadron. All were flying special ops missions in 1945.
