Yes, he earned the M.M. in 1943, with 12 commando, during the "Operation Cartoon" in Norway:

"Bolden,S,L/Cpl, 3316568, Camerons, No.12/1 Commando MM Operation Cartoom.
L/Cpl Bolden was with the the detachment of the Special Service Brigade which landed at Sagvaag, Norway on the night 23rd-24th January,1943.Before the actual landing
took place,L/Cpl Bolden was wounded in the side, but although in pain, he continued and carried out his duties ably and well.He personally led a party which cut the communications and was later in charge of a roadblock on the Savaag-Fitjar road.Throughout the operation he showed that good leadership and determination upon which a small raid of this nature depends on for its success.(LG.25.03.43)"

During Operation TOMBOLA, three 2nd sas parachutist was killed at Albinea (north Italy) in attack to the German 51st Army Corp: Lt. Riccomini, Sgt. Guscott and LcCpl. Bolden. I have the photos of Guscott and Riccomini, but i need also Cpl. Bolden pics because we would open a little museum in Albinea.

    Hi Micky,

Bolden's parent unit was actually the Cameronians (Scottish Rifles) and not the Camerons.

    Cheers Ian

Sory for the very long delay, the picture came from the Philip Williams's archive, there are some SAS during the chute training at Yeovilton (if i remember correctly), may be the red berets was borrowed from the local Para regiment!

I thought the SAS did their jump training at STS 51 with SOE at Altringham
