Ivan Phillips, my dad, was a L/A . I have received his service records but there is a gap and little info . It states he was at Bha Calcutta May 44 After presumably initial training. (He joined up Nov 43) Then from ASR F1347 to Calcutta August 46. New to this by the way. My dad rarely spoke of the war as it affected him and my granny said he was never the same young man. Dad said he was a POW but can’t find anything. If anyone has any info that may help, I would be grateful. Apologies if this is a ramble. Maz.
