    Hi All

I thought I would share a chart of 2NZEFIP Distinguishing patches I drew up a at one stage.

Showing the patches worn in WW2 , source Cliff Lord

    Jonathan,
Do you know a source for the 2NZEF in the Western Desert Distinguishing patches, particularly the 24th Battalion? Interesting to note that my fathers formal photo (my avatar) does not show one.
I am guessing they were worn on the right side if the hat except for the MMG?
What was the significance of the Puggaree colours? Your examples show mainly "brown, red, brown" except for NZASC which is "Tan, White, Tan"?
    Thanks
    Geoff
