Hello Guys Has anyone got the war diaries of the 2nd Fife and Forfar (2nd Jan - 7 Jan 1945) and or any accounts, eye witness views of the battle. Spoke to a former paratrooper today and he said that a Tiger appeared from above the paras start point, as he lay there wounded and proceeded to pick off the tanks of the 2FF in the valley below one by one without missing! He said they only dealt with the Tigers because they run out of petrol in the end. I could do with hearing the perspective of the 2FF... Cheers.
