    Recce_Mitch Very Senior Member

    Fought in North Africa as an Armoured Car Regiment, the 2nd Derbyshire Yeomanry replaced the 51st Reconnaissance Regiment as the Reconnaissance Regiment for the 51st highland Division fighting with them through the invasion of Normandy and the campaign in North-West Europe.
