Thanks for that, I like looking at old Grenadiers stuff.
Wonder what Medal ribbon that CSM Newman is wearing.
    George VI Coronation Medal?
It seems just to be one so not a Great War soldier.
mmm some of other NCOs not got any though.

Fred was in the Sherwood Forrester’s at first as a national serviceman. He got transferred; he asked to be transferred to the Grenadiers because of me and got one.

My Brother Fred was also in the Guards…served in the Guards Armoured Division. He asked to serve in the same regiment as his brother…me… which was granted, so he also joined 2nd Battalion Grenadier Guards. Fred was a regimental boxing champion. (reg No. 4976176)

Sorry I have no clue why the pictures are doubled
    Debbie

Mod Edit: fixed multiple attachment, and kept one Memorial as full image ie the one which includes a Grenadier Guardsman as all images are elsewhere on the forum.

    Hello Paul,
Here is a picture of Wray's Grave in Becklingen. He died in our area. First he was burried in Kutenholz. He got killed in Action. We put up memorial stones for him and other soldiers. We are trying to find more informations about him and the others
    Greetings Debbie
