What happened to your companions?) On 15 Aug 44 I escaped from working camp 107 Gratz by slipping away from a working part in the fields. I was accompanied by Dvr. J. BIDHOFF? & went to MARBURG where we were recapture on 18 Aug 44. We were taken back to Stalag 18A where we were sentence to 21 days, water & bread. On 24 Apr 45 the whole of Gratz working camp was evacuated by Gerry on a march to Stalag 15b in the evening while marching I escaped in the dark & remained in hiding until 8 May 45 when I contacted Russian troops at PLANKENWOTES, arriving at NAPLES on 24 May 45. 5. SABOTAGE Did you do any sabotage or destruction of enemy factory plant, war material, communications, etc, when employed on working-parties or during escape? (Give details, places and dates.) No 6. COLLABORATION with enemy: Do you know of any British or American personnel who collaborated with the enemy or in any way helped the enemy agains other Allied Prisoners of War?
