    3. INTERROGATION after capture:
    Were you specially interrogated by the enemy? (State where, when and methods employed by enemy).

    Desvres France. Shortly after capture. German major, enquired what unit, Commanding Officer & scene of operations. Refused to answer. He then looked up my regimental number & told me the answers.

    5. SABOTAGE
    Did you do any sabotage or destruction of enemy factory plant, war material, communications, etc, when employed on working-parties or during escape? (Give details, places and dates.)

    Sabotage was difficult in mines, on large scale & was chiefly confined to producing local breakdowns in small machinery. Worked as fitter so had ample opportunity.
