Hi, i was just wondering if anyone had any information on what happened to Sydney and how he died, and also what and where he would of been when he died. He died on 12 August 1944

CWGC :: Casualty Results

If this is the right casualty I am sure that Diane will be along as she has an extensive knowledge and database of the Guards Regiments.

Should this be the correct name then it may be a good idea to ammend your Post Heading and mention Coldstream Guardsman.

The battalion diary has him listed as killing in action on the 14th August.
