260th Combat Engineers Batallion - WWII - Does anyone have any information on my fathers batallion? He just started talking about the war at the age of 92. He has many stories. He gave me all the letters he wrote to his mother and let me read them. UNBELIEVEABLE! I will never tell him what he wrote because I do not want him to relive them and get hurt again. He wasn't able to write what he went through and saw untill May 19, 1945. I am so proud of him and all the other Veterans! You all saw uninmaginable sights and went through.... the only word I can come up with ...... is HELL ! You are the reason we have the freedom we do today! THANK YOU!
